My husband is great at many things. Remembering to fix the leaky faucet or pick up groceries? Not so much. I'd remind him, he'd say "I'll do it later," and later never came. We'd end up arguing about the same forgotten tasks every week.
We created a Family Board on Trello with lists: "To Do", "This Week", "Groceries", and "Done". Now whenever something comes to mind - cooking dinner, driving kids to school, at work - I send a quick voice message:
"Create card: Fix bathroom faucet, assign to @husband, due Saturday, add to Home Repairs list."
The magic? He gets an automatic reminder every morning with his tasks for the day. No nagging from me, no "I forgot" from him.
When he's at the hardware store, he just asks: "What's on the Groceries list?" No more phone calls, no more "what was that thing you needed?"
The best part - no learning curve. If you can talk, you can use it. He was skeptical at first, but sending a voice message is easier than typing. Now he adds cards himself: "Create card: Car needs oil change, assign to me, due next Friday."
One month in. Zero arguments about forgotten tasks.
